Step-by-Step of transforming this amazon tree! Here’s the order I decorate trees, as well as some tips I’ve learned over the years! 1. Lights - I love to mix lights! If you have a prelit, add a few strands of twinkle lights! I used 3 strands of twinkle lights, and 5 strands of normal lights. Individually wrap each branch! 2. Use faux fur ribbon (hobby lobby) to create the appearance of freshly fallen snow! Cut into strips, and place horizontally in the tree. 3. Picks! The more the merrier! Use different colors, shapes, and textures! They should be inserted the same direction as the branch is going. I focus the majority of mine at the top of the tree! 4. Large ornaments! These should be nestled into the tree, wrapping tightly to the branch. Use these to fill in bare spots. 5. Ribbon! Always cut your ribbon! I like to do a curl, or just make a C-shape and tuck ends into the tree. Wire-edge ribbon is a must! 6.
