Who else loves the way live-action Ariel’s mermaid tail came out? 😍 Each time I watched it I tried to focus on different things to study, but that tail both looked and moved so amazing it really brought me into the that world. Unfortunately I can’t say the same for Ariel’s sisters whose short screen time didn’t save them from looking more gummy and overly smoothed in contrast to Ariel’s tail and hair that was meticulously rendered. Also, I’m really hoping there were some nice shots of Halle in an actual finished tail because the tails we’ve seen so far just looked like reference samples or to mark the position for the camera.
