⚡️It’s time for an update to my backdrop. If you’ve seen my vids before, the artwork on the wall behind me is all my own but the overall style is just so garish. There was an extruded CMYK poster (in every single colour) and a bright pink screen print I made from one of my wife’s quotes. What this wall needed was just a little more subtlety. 😜 Huge thanks to @sketchandetch for sending over this neon rendition of my Electric E logo. I spent ages deciding which of my logos I wanted up here in neon, but I eventually decided on this one because this logo design has changed my life. It got accepted into the Logo Lounge, it’s up for an award later this year, plus it has such a great story behind it (go and watch the video about how much I charged for it). I broke up the artwork in illustrator and converted it to a format that I thought would work best in neon. I went with a two-colour adaptation of it, because this complimentary colour combination just stood out for me from some of the examples on the Sketch & Etch website. And also, there’s a sister version of this logo that uses the pink colour. Once I was done I just uploaded my artwork using their contact form and left their team to work their magic.
