In 2008, Yasushi Takahashi left behind his girlfriend and quit his job to go on a 6-month journey across Japan to create an epic marriage proposal. Carrying a gps, Yasushi covered 7,163 km mostly by walking, but sometimes also using a car, ferry and bycicle. When he got home, he downloaded the data into Google maps with the result spelling out “marry me”. It has since been certified by Guinness World Records as the world’s largest gps drawing.
