I had a chill staycation at the @fairmontsanfrancisco and it's even been known to host Presidents! The Fairmont Hotel in Nob Hill is one of the oldest luxury hotels with the most beautiful architecture. I checked into my room on the 14th floor, and it has a huge bathroom with a separate tub, a classy bedroom, and the most beautiful view of the city. You can grab dinner at their lobby restaurant, the Laurel Court, and then enjoy drinks underground at the Tonga Room and Hurricane Bar. I came here with some friends to enjoy tiki cocktails and live music. They also serve food here. The next morning, definitely head to the Cirque Bar which recently reopened. It used to be a cocktail bar after the Prohibition, but now serves delicious lattes and pastries. The pistachio latte was my all-time favorite. Right outside, you can see their rooftop garden and if you look closely, you can find the bee hives. Fun fact: They were the first bee-friendly hotel in the city. If you explore the hotel further, you might even find their secret rooftop garden, which is an oasis in and of itself. It's such a beautiful spot to stay at right next to the cable cars and walking distance from places like Union Square, Chinatown, and North Beach. ODETOKYO is a speakeasy omakase in SF and it's such a unique experience. It's located at an unmarked door within an alleyway in SoMa, and I swear it's way better than it seems. You ring the doorbell to walk up a series of stairs that opens up to this beautiful industrial space that feels like one of those speakeasies you can only find in LA. It's an ode to the unmarked, dimly lit alleyways of Tokyo with a super cool Japanese vinyl record bar. You can book the $35 Vinyl listening room experience on Tock if you want to listen to vinyl music and drink sake, or you can book an omakase experience at $250 per person (plus a $10 ODETO membership). It only seats 6 people, and features a 16-course omakase by one of their many rotating chefs. They even have live DJs playing some chill music. We had such a fun time trying all the omakase, my favorite being the wagyu at the end (if you know me, you'll know I'm primarily a meat eater). It was so cool talking with the chefs and watching them prepare all the food in front of us. The black sesame ice cream was also one of the best I've ever had. Their cocktails are also on point. Hotel Zeppelin might be the most fun hotel I've ever stayed at in SF. Hotel Zeppelin, part of the @zhotelssf in Lower Nob Hill, has a young, eclectic vibe to it. I met up with some friends downstairs at their lounge and the colors are so vibrant and bold. Love the neon everywhere and they have lots of games for you to play. I came here months ago for a Sofar Sounds concert, and it was so cool. I checked into my room and I love the modern aesthetic and fun wallpaper. Then, I met up with everyone at their new restaurant, @plsonpostsf . PLS stands for Peace, Love, Soul, and it gives off a fun 60's diner vibe. I got myself a supreme shake, chips and guac, and the classic American smash burger. Pro tip: Dip your French fries into your shake for a fun combination. I did a little self-care the next morning, did some work from home, I absolutely love these work chairs, and explored Union Square just 2 blocks away. Wente hosted a beautiful outdoor dinner for their 140th Harvest, and it was absolutely beautiful. We met at the venue, then took a party bus to the vineyard where they had a giant long table set up beneath the olive-groves. The food definitely tasted farm-to-table, and the wine pairing was on point. So glad to finally visit a vineyard in Livermore! The sunset was gorgeous. @Asian Art Museum has a NEW art exhibition opening this Friday, 9/15 and will be up until 2/12! I came for a preview tour and press conference with Takashi Pom and his art was so fun to see. It’s a combination of bright colors, creative looking monsters, and a deep social commentary of man and the digital age. I also loved seeing all the NFT and giant sculptures.
