There are some classic dishes that I absolutely love making around this time of the year, oxtail being one (if you’ve had my oxtail you know I put my back into it 😝). Steamed bread or what we call in South Africa - dombolo - this one had mushrooms and sundried tomatoes… very fancy, and so yummm! Lastly, for balance, I added a salad, this had burrata for that extra decadence! I’ve noticed that Christmas is never perfect, even when you see the most perfect looking pictures - but it’s who you’re with that matters most. For me, my mom, sister, brother, and my little human made mine absolutely special - and I’m grateful!
