Rare beauty’s stay vulnerable melting blush is so beautiful, I’m so in love with it 🤤. Instant crush 💘. As soon as you stick your finger in its perfect little pot you just get it 😍. It is creamy, but powdery, it has a silky feel to it and it is so lightweight and smooth. It’s blush heaven! 👌🏼This is a very sheer formula, very long-lasting and buildable. I love how translucent it is, and that you can go over layers without looking like it hasn’t been blended 👌🏼Needless to say, it blends like a dream with its velvety & silky texture 😌. So is is an exact dupe? Well, it’s not really the same I’m afraid 😅. Does it mean it’s no good? Not at all. I actually really like this primark version 💁🏻♀️ The shape of the blush itself is exactly the same. Visually, Primark’s a bit less appealing, it’s chunkier, it doesn’t have a magnet to close nor a mirror 🪞. It just feels more plasticky and cheap, which it is 🤭. I want to be very honest with this, not because it’s cheaper, but because Primark is sometimes very good with dupes and packaging, and others, just average 🤷🏻♀️ But even looking at the product on its own… the silky, buttery 🧈 and feather light texture is just not the same. Rare beauty’s is such a unique kind of formula, and before you even apply it you can tell it is. Primark’s is nice but it’s similar to other cream blushes I’ve tried 🤗 Rare beauty’s is very sheer and buildable. It’s the kind you have to pack quite a bit for it to show, but it’s my favourite kind for when I’m in a rush 🏃🏻♀️ as you can never overdo it. Primark’s is much more pigmented, faster. So if you prefer a more pigmented formula you might actually enjoy primark’s more? They both blend very well and the finish is very similar 🤓 On the swatches you can see the shades are nothing alike, I’m here comparing the only one from primark to RB’s Nearly Neutral. Maybe swatching a pinkier one might swatch closer, idk. BUT, on the cheeks it’s almost the same 😱 So, even if I don’t feel they’re exact dupes, the final look is basically THE SAME 😳. They don’t feel the same, but they surely look it. Whenever I go to another city, I struggle to decide on which makeup to wear 🤔. Usually, when on holiday, I leave fairly early and I go sightseeing, museums, some shopping… then it’s lunch out, cocktails and dinner 🍸 So I want an easy, not too time consuming makeup routine that looks chic 💁🏻♀️ but effortless for any kind of plan and place. This is my go-to, also because it means less liquids ✈️ to bring 🤭 1️⃣ Merit minimalist stick in silk: a concealer/foundation hybrid that’s stays put, looks natural and covers just enough. I travel with it all the time because it’s not only convenient as you get 2 in 1 (concealer-foundation hybrid), but also it’s not a liquid and I struggle with my airport liquids bag 🤭 2️⃣ Charlotte tilbury pillow talk palette: I like to bring this kind of palette because it’s sleek and it gives quite a few looks. Having said that, the deep pink shade broke in one of my travels 😅 @meritxelltrasobares kindly gifted it to me, sorry I broke it! Luckily, that was the shade I used the least 🙊 3️⃣ Sheglam eyeliner: I struggle to find a liquid eyeliner that lasts on my oily lids and watery eyes. Who would’ve thought that I’d find it in a low cost eyeliner. 4️⃣ Merit flush balm in persimmon: again, this is not a liquid and it’s very easy to blend. Lovely finish! 5️⃣ Primark mascara: this is a dramatic look mascara and even as a non-waterproof option it stays put all day. We all want plump lips 👄 . With age, lips start thinning and even when we are young, plump lips are a synonym of hydrated 💦and taken care of lips. I’ve tried some lip plumpers in the past, and I must say that I’m not a big fan 🤭. The ones that don’t have that tingle (or 🔥) sensation are basically lip balms 🙈. Not more plump or bigger lips, just hydrated so they look better. And the ones that actually have that tingle but more like a burn 🔥 are very unpleasant to use, or, at least the ones I’ve tried I just couldn’t handle the spice 🌶️ VOLUME Hydrating Lip-plumping Treatment by Transparent lab is a very nice option. It has that tingling ✨feeling, but it’s quite bearable. As soon as you put it on you can see your lips getting a more pink and reddish tone, and the tingling per se it’s not that bad; noticeable, but it doesn’t make you want to rip your lips off 🙊. What I like about this one is that, if you apply it and let it work for about 10 mins, even after you wipe it all off, you still have hydrated, plump and more lively lips for a couple of hours 👌🏼. So it’s actually a great base for lipstick, or something to apply while you do your make up and wipe it off if you no longer want that tingling sensation. Also, as soon as you wipe it off, the tingling sensation goes away instantly 😌. I like that it has a clear texture and I absolutely LOVE ❤️ this applicator. It’s insanely precise, which is great for a lip plumper as you’re not suppose to touch the rest of the skin. And the look of it is just so high end 🫰🏻. It also doesn’t have a leftover taste or smell 🙌🏼. It isn’t sticky at all and it does a great job at defining the lip line. The most I’ve noticed is that it lifts my natural lip colour A LOT. Not sure they’re much bigger but they appear to be for sure! 🫶🏼 And 🎉 no endocrine disrupters and actually scored 100 in Yuka. Bacne (back acne)? Let’s talk Zitback by Acnemy 💥 This is such an easy product to use. I get a few spots on my back, specially with the warmer weather and more spf application and sun exposure. Remember the myth that the sun was good for acne? I remember my mum telling me to sunbathe my back so they’d dry out, but, this is firstly not true and now we know that, and secondly, the sun actually makes it worse. I get a couple of painful cystic spots that leave a mark for ages, and loads of blackheads, so will be sharing with you the process. I’ve been dealing with acne for over 10 years now, and it’s a constant learning curve 🎢 but quite a frustrating one 😮💨 My acne is hormonal, my skin is extremely sensitive 🪶 and oily. Acne & inflammation is our skin screaming for help, and we need to comfort it 🍼 So, I do a lot of things in my routine but when I started adding azelaic acid it’s when I started seeing long-term results. It’s a wonderful active, it can easily be added into your routine, it is an antibacterial antioxidant that you can layer even with retinoids 👩🏻🔬. I’ve been using it every day since January and I’m not going back 🥹 Does it mean I don’t break out anymore? No. And if you’re looking for a miracle acne cure you won’t find it here 🤭 It takes consistency. BUT the breakouts I get aren’t that big or inflamed and they go away much faster, they are smaller and less painful. The marks go away faster too 🙌🏼 It controls my acne, even right before my period 🩸 Consistency is key 🔑 and the key to consistency 😏 is to find that one product that you actually enjoy using, you love the way it makes your skin feel and look, the finish, the convenience 💕 Actives take a long time to show results, in case of acne it can be months 🤓 Azid from Theramid is my favourite. It’s so light, it absorbs extremely fast and it is a beautiful product I always want to have around 👏🏼 great to balance skin and leaves my oily skin matte without drying it out 😍 It has a light milky texture that gets absorbed in seconds.
