Red (Jen’s version) ❤️🍓 . Kicking off this brand new series by rebuilding a classic 75% ! When doing some research for the rainbow series I was happy to find I had one red keyboard and it is actually a beautiful red wine one. Then proceeded to add switches in the same colourway that I got recently as PR and topped it off with soft looking keycaps so it is not too harsh of a build. Don’t know if you noticed but the keyboard does not have screws, it is magnetic and saed me so much time ! . Part 3 : Yellowy sunshine 💛🐝🍌 . Once again I had a hard time finding a yellow keyboard so I actually took the base of the gamakay61 and spray painted it yellow ! This was super easy and fun to do. Gateron yellow switches were already part of the build so all I had to do is actually put on the kecaps to finish off this build and have a thocky and super affordable keyboard. The space bar does need some love tho 🥲 . New speakers unlocked ✅ . My work setup was missing sound accessories and thanks to @DROP I now have brand new speakers that fit perfectly 😌 . These are the BRM1 Nearfield Monitors which are designed especially for desktop use. Not only you can place then however you want (vertically or horizontally) but they also have different coloured grills to match you vibe ! I love a botanical theme so of course I went with green but they also have white, orange, purple… their ultra compact size does not mean less audio quality : they recruited Tectonic Audio Labs, who have developed ultra-compact drivers equipped with a technology called Balanced Mode Radiation (BMR) to all but eliminate breakup and beaming by using a balanced disc (rather than a cone) to push air and create room-filling sound. Anyways now I am super stocked to be using these speakers for when I am editing my videos or simply taking a break and watching YouTube videos and enjoying the experience ☺️ .
