CNN’s Nima Elbagir travelled to the fortified and divided city of Hebron in the West Bank, which is occupied under Israeli military control, and saw first-hand how some settlers are blurring the lines with the IDF by wearing military fatigues to impose restrictions. In this clip we see how Etidal a Palestinian woman is forced to walk a one-hour journey because she is not allowed to cross a checkpoint that would take her to her home 5 minutes away. The situation in Hebron is complicated. A predominantly Palestinian city, it has Israeli settlements right in the center. The result is both a physical and legal segregation between the hundreds of Jewish settlers and the thousands of Palestinians who live around the old city. Watch the full report at our link in bio.
