My favourite viewpoints in the Belgian Ardennes! 😍 1. Le Hérou - you can do a super cool cliff walk of 3.5 km here 2. Rocher de Warche - a hidden gem around Malmedy, especially at sunset! 3. Nez Napoléon - lesser known viewpoint when hiking around castle Reinhardstein 4. Rocher de Falize - super easy to get to, doesn’t even require a hike! 5. Tombeau du Géant - probably the most well-known viewpoint in Belgium, lots of choices for hiking trails! 6. Rocher du Hat - absolutely stunning in autumn with the coloured leaves! The n.1 hike you should have done in Belgium this autumn 🍁 That’s Panorama de la Warche in Robertville. 🥾 Start: barrage de Robertville (free parking available) 🥾 5.2 km (or 17 km if you prefer longer) 🥾 2 hours The main highlights of this hike are Castle Reinhardstein and the rock formation Nez Napoléon. If you do the longer 17 km hike (called Les Crêtes de la Warche) you also pass by Rocher de Falize. ✨ Don’t forget to also visit Castle Reinhardstein! They have regular guided tours on weekends & school holidays. And here’s how to get there👇 📍Rocher de Falize, Malmedy This viewpoint is super easy to access because although there’s a stunning hike leading up to it, you don’t actually have to hike to the viewpoint 😉 👉 park your car at Ferme Des Bruyères and follow the blue rectangles for a few hundreds of meters into the forest. Tadaaa! If you do want to hike, you have 2 options: 🥾 Les deux rochers - 9.2 km - blue rectangles - passing by Rocher de Falize and Rocher de Warche 🥾 Panorama des deux vallées - 10.5 km - red rectangles - also passing by Rocher de Falize Both routes are very well indicated. I personally did the blue one because it passes by another stunning viewpoint that is sooo worth a visit as well! The family behind it is super friendly & make the most delicious breakfast! 😋 2. Nutchel - back to basics but with luxury. Lighting the fire, boiling tea on the stove, waking up in the forest with the sound of birds… that’s my kind of perfect ✨ 3. Slow Cabins - (literally) hidden cabins in Belgium & The Netherlands.
