Did you know before I was 18, I’d never left Australia? Crazy to think now I’ve traveled around the world several times over and literally made a career of it. Wondering whether or not to visit the Sacred Monkey Forest in Bali’s Ubud? We loved our visit, although you should be PREPARED and read the signs before going in. This was my second visit so I was already aware of the advice about what to take it…id thought about everything… but my pretty earrings! After trying to take one from my ear, the monkey jumped on my sons head. Not intentionally to hurt or scare him, but it did give my 2 year old a fright! Besides that they loved being able to walk amongst the monkeys roaming naturally through the forest. If your kids love Paw Patrol like mine, then Nickelodeon Resort Riviera Maya is a MUST! Our boys LOVED meeting the characters each day. They also have an ‘adventure bay’ waterpark which is perfect for all ages. We even added the character breakfast for an added treat. It wasnt cheap but in the end we found it worth it. The struggle of parenthood is REAL ! Whether you’re a full-time mum/mom , a working mum or a dad … the juggle is something you don’t understand until you’re there. Between filming and traveling, we’re based in LA where I work on pre and post production of other episodes. For the last two months my husband has been away working. So i’ve been solo parenting, without family support and while trying to develop and launch a new business (stay tuned). Sorry ladies, my husband is already taken! But this video might make you fall in love. This is a little #BTS of our recent filming of #summerfundestinations in Bali. We have a rotating crew of contractor film makers and camera men who film our shows around the world. We pull from both the USA and Australia depending on where we are filming and availability. Bali was slightly different as we had the luxury of time, which isnt normally the case. So with my husband not away working on a film, and amazing behind the camera, we filmed it together. Instead putting our money into the local economy and hiring locals for extra help (like the kids who, depending on the type of activity came along with).
