Learning how to fill a sewing bobbin: * Controlling the speed until I get confidence - this is my goal for the entire learning-to-sew process - I have to follow my speed, and having this functionality in my machine greatly helps. * Ensure that the tensors really “tension” the thread - if the thread is loose, it can cause problems or defects when sewing. * Reading the Manual is very useful. I bought my Sewing machine in Germany, so the manual that came with it is in German and Italian - but as Singer is a global brand, it was easy to find an online Portuguese version. Besides looking through tutorial videos, I feel safer knowing that I'm not skipping some specific characteristic of my machine.
