Let’s design a retro Southwest Airlines bag tag inspired by their Desert Gold livery! the desert gold livery has always been my favorite, so I wanted to honor those tones while also including elements of the airline’s history. their initial look launched in 1967, features those bold slanted stripes which I absolutely love. I thought it would be a great way to accentuate their ‘90s identity which featured a southwest aircraft with “SOUTHWEST” in black. a subtle homage to the crew tag was an abstract interpretation of the winged aviation badge. that logo was used by the airline from about ‘71 to ‘98. I thought that would be a perfect addition for the crew who serve the airline with flying colors and heart. and that’s a wrap, drawing inspiration from all corners of their history, the desert gold bag tag! enjoy! #southwestairlines #aviationlovers #aviationdaily #retroaviation #aviation4u #aviationgeek #pilotsoftiktok #retrolover #boeinglovers
