Not going to lie, this felt like a childhood dream come true! It wasn’t the LA, or the London premiere but as far as I was concerned I was representing that little girl I used to be. I struggled with imaginative play when I was a little girl, never understood the role-playing of Barbie, I just wanted to be her. Wear all the clothes, the makeup and jewels. Why pretend when you can be it! But Barbie represents so much more than what's she's wearing. She give little girls hopes and dreams that you can be whoever you want to be as long as you believe in yourself. I owe so much thanks to my hair stylist Nicki, and my MUA Tara, both such amazing friends who put up with my high impossible demands and emotional meltdowns! And of course Adam, my girls, my Mum and Dad who without them, I wouldn’t have ever made it. I never really read books as a child, I guess due the the inattentiveness conditions I have, and that still continues today. But that’s not to say I don’t consume information or knowledge, I just get it in different ways. And we’re now going thorough that with both our daughters. We all learn differently and I’m glad we’re in a world now that recognises that. Fashion is the same. Don’t put yourself in a box that’s labeled by society.
