Governor Zulum Presides Over The Swearing In Of a Commissioner And 4 CTC Chairmen His Excellency Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum presided over the swearing in of Hon. Aliyu Mohammed Lawan Buba (Bamanga) and Caretacer Committee Chairmen of Bayo, Biu, Gubio and Kwaya Kusar LGAs. The Governor Called on the newly sworn in Commissioner and the CTC Chairmen to gear up towards ensuring the achievement of the administrations drive in delivering the dividends of democracy and development in the state. Nigerian Army Applauded Gov. Zulum Nonkinetic Model of Attenuating Boko Haram Crisis. ~ Chief of Defence Staff Gen. CJ MUSA Paid on Thank-You Visit mission in Maiduguri. General CJ Musa, this evening, paid a courtesy call to his Excellency Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum to appreciate his unprecedented support to the Nigeria Armed Forces and particularly to hos person. He further complimented Gov. Zulum, by saying that if other governors will be giving the military the kind of support Zulum is giving, the security, the situation in the country would have been dealt with completely. Gov. Zulum responding to the CDS expressed his gratitude for the visit. His Excellency also said it is a pride to see one of us ascend to this position. His Excellency further commended General Musa that throughout his stay in borno State he has brought peace to the state especially in terms of promoting military civil relationship among others has contributed largely to success Borno State has seen so far in terms of security. He also commended all the former and present theatre commaders for the commitment to protect the Nigeria and Nigerians. Suggesting, Gov. Zulum reiterated that the Boko Haram crisis can only be defeated through strengthening the resilience of the community, People should go back to their place of living and start earning their legitimate means of livelyhood. The gov. also emphasis thaylt for now no community is under the control of boko Haram, and all this wouldn't have been possible without the help of the Nigerian military. The Gov. Zulum thanked the armed forces for their support and wished them a safe journey back to their Various destinations. In attendance is the deputy governor, SSG, HOS, commissioners, and SSA.
