Charcoal cheese-filled taiyaki! It’s almost spooky season, so i gave my favourite taiyaki recipe a new 👻 look with the addition of charcoal powder to my batter (or you can use your fav waffle batter). The taiyaki waffles are cooked in a taiyaki pan and I filled each waffle with Armstrong Cheese Triple Cheddar Cheese Shreds. The shreds create an ooey gooey cheese filling and crispy cheese skirt around the waffle. The key is to overfill the taiyaki waffles so you get the best cheese pull.
