These pictures show what some would see as extremely pivotal/amazing moments of my life. But the ones I should’ve been most excited for, I found myself just trying to get through them the best I could. So much to be grateful for and yet at the height of my #PTSD I would come so close to letting my fear win. And for as much as I love to joke and laugh, it’s just as important to me to show every part of my healing journey because in some way, we’ve all been there and maybe you’re there right now. It’s crucial to remind ourselves that the bad things that happen to us are not our whole story. But it’s also just as important to take it easy, and give grace when it all feels like too much. This is also your reminder to not compare yourself to what you see on social media. Often the most amazing memories are wrapped in so much pain and loneliness. Keep fighting the good fight, and I will too. Thank you for being here.💗 #myhealingjourney #ptsdawareness #bostonstrong #scarsarebeautiful #wecandohardthings
