Check whether you need visa to enter Korea and fill in the Q-Code 🛄 2. Get a SIM Card 📲 We normally get a SIM card with internet data rather than pocket wifi (just more convenient). One thing I learnt that there are two types: data only or with Korean mobile local number. If you are planning to take taxi like Kakao Taxi and reserve some places then get the SIM card with the actual local number. If you’ll be travelling mostly on public transport, take taxi on the streets and don’t need any reservations etc then mobile data SIM card is enough 3. Download Naver Map 🗺️ because Google Map doesn’t really work in South Korea!
