When I first visited the temples of Khajuraho, it was early morning, sunrise. I didn't know much yet, and in advance, the guide allowed us to walk a little around the temple grounds on our own. I approached the bigger ones, but I couldn't go in, I couldn't cross the threshold. It seemed that the energy in them was very dense, as if palpable with my hand and unknown to me. I got off and waited outside to understand if I need to go there at all. (This is what I do when the first feeling seems to be rejection) It was very early in the morning. Tourists often come here during the day, but this area is closed at night. No one had been there all night and I must have been one of the first to try to get in that day. The energy had not yet been released - that was my conclusion about this feeling. Only later did I learn from the guide that before entering the temple you have to stand on a platform with shells and ask permission to enter the temple.
