something that’s really been bothering me recently is the videos i’m starting to see surrounding muzzles and the recent coming of the bully ban in the UK. One video in particular that’s i’ve seen was of a dog pawing off the muzzle while sad depressing music in the background played and the caption essentially was talking about how the dog hates the muzzle and how muzzles are bad etc. Many videos i’ve seen revolve around the muzzle itself and not the ban. MUZZLED DOGS ARE NOT BAD DOGS. It’s unfortunate that the government is making dogs required to be muzzled based on their breed but feeding into the stigma of why a muzzle may be used is not helping the issue at hand. Muzzles are a wonderful thing and are crucial for a lot of dogs to live happy lives. I’m an advocate for all dogs being muzzle trained because believe it or not ALL dogs can/will bite given the circumstances.
