šŸ„®Oreo MooncakesšŸ„® This is probably one of my easiest recipesā€¦ the only tricky part is getting a mooncake mold. Two ingredients. Oreos and Milk. Separate the Oreos into cookies and cream, and then blend the cookies into a powder. SLOWLY add milk until the powder just starts to come together. For the single stuf oreos, this was 100g of milk, but for the double stuf lemon oreos, it was closer to 80g. Make little balls that are each ā…“ of the total weight of your final mooncake. I used 100g molds, so my mooncakes were made with 2x 30g balls of cookie and 1x 30g ball of cream. I liked putting the cream in the freezer for 30 minutes before covering it with cookie dough, then putting the larger balls in the fridge for 30 minutes before molding them. After they are out of the mold, I put the finished mooncakes in the freezer, because just like oreosā€¦ they are super tasty frozen. If you celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival, then äøē§‹åæ«ä¹, and if you donā€™tā€¦ then I hope you learned something interesting about Chinese holidays. * Also, the idiom I said at the end means, ā€œThe flowers are beautiful and the moon is full.ā€ Itā€™s a traditional phrase said during this festival. #midautumnfestival #äøē§‹čŠ‚ #mooncake #ęœˆé„¼ #chinesefood #oreo
