world mental health day 🌏💛🦋🌈🧚🏽‍♀️💖🌻🩷 SO much I could say on this topic, but as this is a caption and English isn’t my forte, I will keep it short and sweet. ‘Good’ mental health doesn’t mean everything is sunshine and rainbows. It doesn’t mean everything is 100/10 and that you live on cloud 9 everyday. Good mental health to me means knowing it’s ok to not be ok, but also knowing that those times when you don’t feel your best, are because you are learning, growing and being human! And that It is ok to not be ok!! Everything we go through teaches us something, and you may not feel like that when going through it, but nothing is permanent, so you WILL feel ok again sometime. The difference I feel now a days when not feeling my best, compared to the days where I was at my unhealthiest, I now appreciate every emotion I feel. I try and love myself whenever I can, and tune into my body listening to its wants and needs. Some days that may be not even picking up my phone, and others that may be eating the whole box of cereal. But knowing that every emotion, every experience and every moment in my life is temporary and a blessing, is what spins round my head daily. I love you. Things do get better.
