THUMBPRINT KEEPSAKE ORNAMENTS 🎄 Save this one for later! Every year, I make keepsake ornaments with the girls for our Christmas tree as well as little gifts for their grandparents. This year their thumbprints got documented on Christmas trees. I bought the Peartree handprint ornament kits you can find at Marshalls or TJMaxx for under $5. I’ve used salt dough before and it’s just too heavy and fragile in my opinion. I used a Christmas tree cookie cutter I already had instead of the round one that came with the kit. Then, I added the girls’ thumbprints to make little ornaments. Now, this is where the MISTAKE happened. I used watercolors to paint the thumbprints and it spread. So don’t be like me.
