Iโve cracked the code. Harmonies from Here, There & Everywhere (1966), Eleanor Rigby (1966)! and Because (1969) were all used in the new Beatles song โNow And Thenโ mixed in with John Lennonโs original vocals and newly recorded harmonies from Paul and Ringo. I hope this is a great guide for those who are confused on how they repurposed these harmonies for Now & Then! I decided to take a shot at it last night after I realized no one had pointed out which parts were which yet. it was a great test of how well i know these beatles songs and trying to figure out what techniques Giles used to complete it to a cohesive result. If you look closely, you can see how i had to loop some harmonies sometimes as much as 8 times just to achieve the desired length. Here there and everywhere can be stretched so the vocals cover a few seconds, but because has specific chords that had to be looped about 8 times to achieve the desired sound.
