I used to travel to Bali once every three years, maybe less. Taking a vacation in Japan was hard; flying to a destination 7 hours away felt like a luxury. Every time I would land in Bali, I would fall in love. And every time, I would wait for my next trip to this beautiful island, maybe in a year or two. Now, I fly to Bali all the time. Just in the past month, I was there twice. I still love the island, but recently I've begun to feel that something is off. The views have become ordinary. Beautiful places don't surprise me as they did before. Everything around seems to be normal. How did this happen? And then, this morning, I woke up in a jungle.
