(New) Christmas Cake!! 🎄❤️ Recipe 👇 One of the most iconic bakes that exists, the christmas cake… homemade and scrumptious filled with fruit, and soaked in brandy!  So lets the honest now, I’m mentioning Christmas in… October. But as this is about Christmas Cake, it’s totally okay as this recipe has been SO highly requested! I make mine 12 weeks before Christmas, so this recipe is perfectly timed 👀🎄 All notes and details are on the full blog post on my blog so make sure to check it out! ❤️ ✨Recipe✨ ▪️200g raisins ▪️200g sultanas ▪️200g currants ▪️200g dried cranberries ▪️200g glace cherries ▪️75g mixed peel ▪️175ml brandy ▪️250g unsalted butter ▪️200g light brown sugar ▪️50g treacle ▪️5 medium eggs ▪️2 tsp vanilla ▪️Zest of 2 lemons ▪️Juice of 2 lemons ▪️2tsp mixed spice ▪️1tsp ginger ▪️1tsp nutmeg ▪️1tsp cinnamon ▪️200g self raising flour ▪️100g ground almonds ✨Method✨ ▪️Add the dried fruit, lemon zest and juice (I forgot to film the lemon) brandy, butter, light brown sugar and treacle to a large bowl ▪️Mix these together, and then heat in the microwave for 5 minutes on high, letting the butter melt, and stir together well ▪️Leave the mixture to cool for 30 minutes. Macaroni Cheese 🧀💫 Recipe Below 👇🏼 🧀 Recipe 🧀 Ingredients ▪️350g macaroni pasta ▪️200g bacon lardons ▪️75g stale breadcrumbs ▪️50g mature cheddar cheese  Cheese sauce ▪️35g unsalted butter  ▪️35g plain flour ▪️1tsp mustard powder  ▪️2 garlic cloves  ▪️Salt & pepper  ▪️565ml whole milk  ▪️300g mature cheddar cheese  ▪️50g parmesan  💫 Method 💫 ▪️Cook the macaroni pasta for two minutes less than the packet instructions and then drain and set aside ▪️Cook the bacon lardons in a dry pan, over a medium high heat, until crispy ▪️Preheat the oven to 200ºc/180ºc fan and grab a large baking dish ▪️Add the butter to a pan, and melt on a medium heat  ▪️Add the flour and mix together. Add the mustard powder and garlic.  ▪️Once mixed, increase the heat to hot and cook the flour out for a minute or two  ▪️Gradually add all of the milk to the pan whilst whisking, do this gradually at the start to prevent lumps ▪️Simmer sauce for 5 minutes, stirring well, so that the mixture doesn't catch on the bottom of the pan ▪️Remove the pan from the heat and add the grated parmesan, grated cheddar and salt and pepper  ▪️Mix together until the cheese has melted into the sauce ▪️Add the bacon lardons to the baking dish, along with the cooked macaroni pasta ▪️Pour over the sauce and stir it all together to combine ▪️Sprinkle over the extra cheddar, and breadcrumbs, and bake in the oven for 25 minutes until golden  ▪️Serve immediately and enjoy! (New!) Mini Loaf Tins 🍰🤗 These great little tins are so adaptable which is why I’ve tried several different ways of using them! As well as tasting AMAZING, they can also be decorated however you fancy! 🥳  As well as the vanilla cake from yesterday there are so many options… ✨A cupcake mixture will make about 8 - I used my chocolate fudge recipe for some ✨A brownie mixture will make about 12 - so easy to decorate with a drizzle of chocolate ✨A cheesecake mixture will make about 12 - I tried my Rolo cheesecake mixture and it was perfect Have some fun and try them out - they’re so good for gifts, or bake sales… I do reuse my mini loaf tins after so I don’t throw them away for other bakes, or for storage of things like sprinkles and piping tips! No-Bake Chocolate Oat Traybake 😍🍫 A delicious five-ingredient store cupboard recipe that is SO easy to make… This beauty is from my third book Jane’s Patisserie Everyday is out TOMORROW and I am so excited!!! 🥳📘 So many of you have already been receiving your copies and I am so excited for the rest of you to see it! I thought I’d film one more little sneaky peek of a delicious five-ingredient and no-bake treat that is super easy to whip up for the everyday ❤️ ✨Recipe✨ ▪️300g unsalted butter ▪️140g light brown sugar ▪️350g rolled oats ▪️200g milk chocolate ▪️125g peanut butter ✨Method✨ ▪️Line a 9” square tin with parchment paper ▪️Add the butter and sugar to a pan and melt together ▪️Pour the oats into a large bowl and pour over the butter/sugar and mix ▪️Add the chocolate and peanut butter to a bowl and melt together ▪️Press half into the oat mix into the base of the tin, pour over the chocolate peanut mix, and then spread over the other half of the oat mix ▪️Set in the fridge for 2 hours, portion and enjoy! Note- You can use any spread you like such as biscoff, Nutella, or chocolate if you don’t fancy peanut butter! Battenberg Cheesecake 💗💛 Recipe Below 👇🏼 A delicious no-bake Battenberg Cheesecake with a Battenberg shell, biscuit base, almond and jam flavoured cheesecake filling and more.  One of the most highly requested and viral bakes that there have ever been... the Battenberg Cheesecake. Marrying all your favourite Battenberg bits into cheesecake form - what could be better?! 😍 💛Recipe💛 Battenburg ▪️2x large Battenberg cakes Base  ▪️200g digestives  ▪️100g unsalted butter, melted  Filling ▪️500g full-fat soft cheese ▪️125g icing sugar ▪️1tsp vanilla extract ▪️300ml double cream ▪️1tsp almond extract ▪️Pink food colouring ▪️50g raspberry jam ▪️Yellow food colouring Decorations ▪️150ml double cream ▪️2tbsp icing sugar ▪️3-4 mini battenbergs 💗Method💗 ▪️Slice the large battenberg into roughly 1-2cm thick pieces and line the outside of an 8” springform tin ▪️Blitz the biscuits to a fine crumb and mix in the melted butter ▪️Pour the biscuit base into the tin and press down firmly ▪️Whisk together the cream cheese, vanilla and icing sugar ▪️Pour the double cream and continue to whisk until thick ▪️Split the mix between two bowls ▪️To one bowl, add the yellow food colouring and almond extract and mix to combine ▪️To the other bowl, add the raspberry jam and pink food colouring and mix together ▪️Dollop each colour filling into the tin randomly and swirl the colours together to create a marbled effect ▪️Smooth over the surface and set in the fridge for 5-6 hours, or preferably overnight ▪️Once set, carefully remove from the tin and decorate by whipping together the cream and icing sugar ▪️Pipe the cream onto the cheesecake and finish with small slices of mini battenbergs Find the full recipe on my blog - www.janespatisserie.com - search battenberg cheesecake!! ❤️🥰 #janespatisserie #cheesecake #cheesecakes #EasyRecipes #nobakecheesecake #battenberg #almond #raspberry

Oatmeal Raisin Cookies ✨🍪 Recipe below 👇🏼 Day NINE of my TEN DAYS OF COOKIES and it could be none other than the popular family favourite that is… oatmeal raisin!  ✨Recipe✨ Ingredients ▪️125g unsalted butter ▪️100g light brown sugar ▪️75g white granulated sugar  ▪️1 medium egg ▪️1tsp vanilla ▪️1tsp ground cinnamon  ▪️150g plain flour  ▪️150g rolled oats ▪️1tsp baking powder ▪️1/2tsp bicarbonate of soda ▪️1/2tsp sea salt ▪️200g raisins 🍪Method🍪 ▪️Cream together your butter and sugars in a bowl  ▪️Add the egg and vanilla extract and continue to mix together ▪️Once combined, add in the bicarbonate of soda, baking powder and salt ▪️When mixed, add the plain flour, rolled oats, cinnamon and raisins and beat until they're distributed well ▪️Once the mix starts to resemble cookie dough you can begin to portion ▪️Weigh the cookies out into ten cookie dough balls - roughly 85g each ▪️Roll the cookie dough into balls and place in the freezer for at least 30 minutes or in the fridge for an hour  ▪️Whilst the cookie dough is chilling, preheat your oven to 200ºc/180ºc fan ▪️Take your cookies out of the freezer/fridge and put them onto a lined baking tray spaced evenly ▪️Bake the cookies in the oven for 10-12 minutes ▪️Once baked, leave them to cool on the tray for at least 30 minutes before enjoying them! Lentil Chickpea Curry! 😍❤️ Recipe 👇 A delicious and easy lentil chickpea curry which is the perfect dinner idea for the every day, super easy and adaptable!  This recipe is super easy to make, so quick to throw together, and utterly delicious for the perfect weeknight meal. 🤤😏 Recipe ▪️2-3 tbsp olive oil ▪️2 white onion, finely chopped ▪️1 red pepper, chopped  ▪️3 garlic cloves, finely chopped  ▪️1tbsp curry powder  ▪️1tsp ground cumin  ▪️1tsp ground coriander  ▪️1tsp cayenne pepper  ▪️400g chopped tomatoes  ▪️400ml full fat coconut milk  ▪️400g chickpea  ▪️400g tin of lentils  ▪️200g frozen spinach  ▪️2tbsp lemon juice ▪️Salt & pepper  Method ▪️Grab a large saucepan or frying pan and heat the oil on a medium heat ▪️Add the finely chopped onion and fry until softened  ▪️Add the red pepper, garlic, curry powder, cumin, coriander, and cayenne pepper and fry for a couple of minutes  ▪️Add the chopped tomatoes, coconut milk, chickpeas and lentils and mix ▪️Simmer for 15-20 minutes until the chickpeas and lentils have softened  ▪️Add the frozen spinach, lemon juice and season with salt and pepper to your liking ▪️Simmer for a further few minutes until ready to serve Find the full recipe on my blog - www.janespatisserie.com - search lentil curry ❤️🥰 #janespatisserie #dinnerideas #easydinner #EasyRecipes #homemade #curryrecipe #lentils #mealinspo #FoodTok #recipesoftiktok

Peach Crumble! 🍑😍  Recipe 👇 A scrumptious and easy peach crumble with a homemade crumble topping and a cinnamon spiced peach filling, perfect served with custard!  Oh HELLO peach crumble.. where have you been all of my life?! This delicious dessert is SO good, SO easy to make, and I LOVE IT. ❤️🥰 These sort of bakes are always the best kind of comfort food right? The kind that is one dish that you can just shove into the oven. Is this the sort of recipe you like to see?
