With or without milk? ☕️ Polyphenols are antioxidants found in coffee and tea. They are poorly absorbed by the gut. But polyphenols bind to protein in milk. This means your gut can absorb them better. A little bit of milk in your coffee or tea might help you to absorb more antixodants! Note this has only been shown in lab studies so we need human trials.
