What draws thousands of visitors to this small town every year is the townโs pretty architecture and the convivial harbour. Have you already visited this cool place in the Netherlands? ๐๐ซ๐๐ฏ๐๐ฅ ๐๐ข๐ฉ๐ฌ โจ From Amsterdam Central Station there are direct busses to Volendam and the ride takes 29 min. The price of a one-way journey is โฌ 5,47. If you come by car, there is free parking available, but note that in most places, you have to place a blue parking disc on the dashboard of your car, because there is a time limit. โจFrom Volendam you can take the ferry to Marken, another lovely town (see my previous reel and post about this place). From Marken you can take the bus back to Amsterdam. The Ferry costs โฌ10 one way and โฌ17,50 for a return ticket for an adult (children cheaper). And you can just buy the tickets at the harbour. โจThe harbour in Volendam has a lot of good places to eat! There are stalls with fresh fish, delicious waffles and traditional stroopwafels. But you can also find a variety of nice cafรฉs and restaurants here. โจIf you want to take a special souvenir with you from Volendam, head to one of the townโs photography shops where you can try on traditional Dutch costumes and get your pictures taken!
