I made these elderberry syrup DIY kits with 12 immune supporting organic herbs so that you can make your own elderberry syrup at home! It’s so easy! No need to overbuy herbs or spend time researching for the best recipe. Simply boil in water and add honey, maple syrup, or agave. Stay tuned! 😁 Please like, comment, share, save! Thank you all! 🥰 ✨To make elderberry syrup: To a stock pot, add in 4 cups filtered water and the entire contents of pouch. Bring to a boil. Once boiling bring down to a simmer and simmer covered for 30 minutes to I hour. Then turn off the heat and let it cool a bit then strain the elderberry tea into a bowl and from that strained bowl pour into mason jar and add in 1/2 cup of raw honey and the juice of half a lemon (optional) and mix. Note: One kit + 4 cups water makes 2 mason jars and one kit + 6 cups water makes 3 mason jars of syrup. I don’t recommend using more than 6 cups water because we want the syrup to be concentrated to be effective. Can also make a daily tea. Steep I tbsp. in hot water for at least 30 min, strain + enjoy! ✨Directions for use: Take I tsp. 3xs per day, daily as a preventative especially during “flu season” If you feel a cold coming on or already have a cold, take I tbsp. 3xs per day or I tbsp. every 3-4 hours. For children over I year old, take I-2 tsp daily.
