The main differences between the meals I eat now compared to the ones I ate when I was 407lbs is They are more balanced Higher in protein and fiber I use less calorically dense substitutions/ swaps… And most importantly!!! I healed my relationship with food and overcame emotional binge eating. Other than that imma eat and I’m going to make sure that I’m full and that everything I eat I enjoy !!! Period !! The over restrictive season should be dead and gone clearly it doesn’t give longevity. This is what I did do though … Feel free to save and try these out 🔑 1. I tracked my intake so that I would know how much I could eat and still reach my goals or maintain them for MY BODY !! 2. I used the 80/20 rule so that I could start practicing moderation 3. I practiced volume eating and increased my protein intake to help reduce snacking 4. I utilized swaps to help me recreate the meals I enjoyed to make them less calorically dense but still be full 5. Most importantly…. I healed my relationship with food !! 👈👈 GAME CHANGER !! ⬇️⬇️⬇️ Why these steps were so important for me when creating long lasting weight loss results ✅ Oils and other sauces tend to high be high in caloric value because of the amount of fat they contain. Fat is 9cal per gram so measuring them out help reduce my caloric intake. ✅ Eating from out of the bag usually caused me to over eat when I measured it out I not only reduced my intake but I found out that I didn’t need to eat over the actual serving amount on the label ✅ When I put the phone down and turned off the tv when eating I ate slower and was able to identify weather I was full or not and most times would even eat less then was on my plate. This allowed me to be more in tune with my hunger signals and prevented over eating. Here are some of my daily tools to help me maintain my 200lb weight loss ✨ I make sure I get in my daily protein needs ✨I measure and or weigh my food ✨I cook all or majority of my meals ✨I eat veggies high in fiber ✨I keep snacking to a minimum ✨Currently I have adjusted my meal times and size… So, I have something high in protein but low in cal at around 11:30 before my workout then I have a large meal after my workout about 2 maybe a snack then dinner at 5/6 and maybe a small snack before bed.
