We dont talk enough about periods. The cycle is a natural life rhythm and it reveals so much about our physical, mental and emotional health. We should pay attention. A regular cycle, for a woman, is her metrinome. It keeps time, it grounds, it inspires. Plus… its a sign your PCOS is being well managed. When we regulate the cycle we experience both physicak and metaphysical benefits - 🌱the connection to feminine power and flow 🌱a deeper predictability of emotions and mood 🌱an understanding of how our energy and essence as women changes throughout the month 🌱the potential to uplevel and reach higher levels of self actualization The crazy thing is that regulating the cycle… doesnt have to take a long time. With the MedDiet and lifestyle, most women regulate their cycle in a matter of weeks or months. That’s it. There’s a lot of evidence to support meal replacement for weight loss -> make it homemade to make it high quality and it’s a double win. Smoothies are a great way to start your day out nutritionally strong, satisfied and anti-inflammatory. The 🍋 helps prevent any potential glucose spikes… along with the protein and healthy fat in the ground flaxseed. A 5-10% weight loss improves PCOS outcomes by optimizing fertility, improving insulin resistance, lowering androgen levels, optimizing the lipid profile and managing symptoms. The more specific and evidence based the weight loss strategy, the better. A plant-forward eating pattern like the MedDiet will aid in weight loss AND PCOS remission. I hope you have a beautiful week! What’s on your summer bucket list? #pcos #pcosweightloss #pcosnutrition #antiinflammatorydiet #mediterraneandiet #womenshealth #insulinresistance

Health is more than a list of behaviors. Its about the integration and honoring of the entire human - physically, psychologically and philosophically. We cant transform without a strong self concept and purpose. #pcos #pcostok #pcosnutrition #pcosweightloss #pcosdiet #healthylifestyle #bluezones

Cutting calories and/or eliminating food groups is a superficial weight loss strategy. You’ll get results in the short term, but it will never be sustainable because you’re not addressing the underlying metabolic imbalance e.g. inflammation, insulin resistance and gut dysbiosis. Instead, focus on a QUALITY first approach. This is a longer game, but it’s actually sustainable because your cravings will be managed and your inflammation will be reduced. A plant-forward eating pattern, like the Mediterranean diet, is the way to do this. I teach you exactly how to implement this for PCOS remission in the full life society. PCOS Remission isn’t as hard as your explore page would have you believe. A MedDiet and lifestyle is specific enough that if you implement these things I described… you will achieve remission. It’s not a matter of if, it’s a matter of time. P.S. I forgot to mention the inclusion of whole grains 🙃 Have you tried a MedDiet before? Will you implement these tips? #pcos #pcosweightloss #pcosdiet #pcosnutrition #pcoslifestyle #mediterraneandiet #antiinflammatorydiet

A few PCOS reminders 💚 PCOS is about so much more than periods - it’s a reproductive AND metabolic disorder that impacts the whole body. It’s definitely not your fault - it’s strongly heritable. It’s very treatable with a plant forward Mediterranean diet and lifestyle with many women achieving complete remission. I’d love to help you get started - snag the free MedDiet guide + meal plan at the top of my page. 🧡 #pcos #pcosweightloss #mediterraneandiet #womenshealth #inflammation #plantforward #pcosdiet #pcosawareness

PCOS doesn’t originate in the ovaries for MOST women who live with the condition. Insulin resistance is present in 75-95% of PCOS cases and chronic low grade inflammation is at the root. This is a metabolic disorder that increases risk of type 2 diabetes, certain cancers, heart disease and more. A strategy that targets ovarian dysfunction only… is weak. Diet and lifestyle change is first line treatment for PCOS. Specifically, a Mediterranean diet and lifestyle is the tool to tap into if you desire complete symptom remission that begins from the inside out.
